Warehouse Associate - Part-Time - Bend, Oregon

Job Description

Shift Naturals is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in our Bend, Oregon warehouse. This role is responsible for receiving, organizing, and fulfilling distributor and e-commerce orders for our DownShift and Shift Cocktails product lines. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-minded, and detail-oriented, capable of managing materials, assembling pallets, and ensuring accurate inventory. Prior forklift experience is preferred, though we provide full on-the-job training for the right individual.

Key Areas of Focus

    Order Fulfillment & Distribution

    • Review distributor purchase orders and pick, pack, and palletize beverage cases according to order requirements.
    • Verify order accuracy and ensure all pallets are securely wrapped, labeled, and prepared for pickup or delivery.
    • Move materials and finished goods to and from loading dock, delivery trucks, and warehouse storage areas using pallet jacks or forklifts.
    • Maintain clean, organized staging areas for outbound shipments.
    • Oversee pallet crating, wrapping, and shipment audit prior to release.

    Inventory & Materials Management

    • Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
    • Identify and label all materials, recording their locations in warehouse logs or shared inventory sheets.
    • Perform regular cycle counts and report discrepancies to management.
    • Maintain accurate counts of warehouse materials, including beverage inventory, packaging supplies, and general shipper materials.
    • Assist in aggregating purchase orders to ensure production and fulfillment alignment.

    Warehouse Equipment & Safety

    • Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely and responsibly.
    • Perform pre-use equipment inspections and report maintenance needs or safety issues immediately.
    • Adhere to all safety protocols, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe lifting techniques, and proper load-handling procedures.
    • Participate in warehouse walk-throughs to identify and correct safety hazards.

    General Support

    • Assist in staging and preparing materials for production runs.
    • Organize demo and marketing gear inventory as needed for events or activations.
    • Support operational efficiency by maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • 1–2 years of warehouse, logistics, or material-handling experience preferred (CPG or beverage industry a plus).
    • Forklift experience preferred; training provided for the right candidate.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or move for extended periods.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Comfortable using Google Sheets or basic inventory tracking systems.
    • Dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive in maintaining warehouse standards.

    Physical Requirements

    • Clear communication abilities.
    • Valid driver's license, insurance, and a clean driving record.
    • Ability to drive for extended periods.
    • Capable of lifting up to 30lbs.
    • Comfortable standing for long durations.
    • Physically able to perform tasks requiring movement and flexibility.
    • Minimum age requirement is 21 years.
